Good location, house was great, nice and clean. Great distance from the beach. Had a great week. The only downside was the driveway, which is narrow for modern/new sized cars, the gate (and wooden posts) only server to make it more difficult to park in front of the house which is necessary if you bring two vehicles. I would recommend removing the posts and gate to make access easier.

We were disappointed to find this garden was overgrown with weeds and not comfortable to sit out in so we had to weed the garden before we did but the garden on a slope and not ok for children to play on as shingle plants and weeds, the outdoor table was rotten and it and chairs needed washing from cobwebs and bird muck. The cottage bathrooms are very dated and are dark brown and light brown in colour. However the location is wonderful to the left of the property to the beach but it’s not a gentle slope as described it’s very steep for people with health and mobility issues and the other way to beach and pub and cafe is terribly dangerous including two bends before a path is there to use and it’s a very busy road and not pleasant or safe for my family self and dog.Despite everything we had an amazing time with each other but accommodation was a let down and overpriced for what it has to offer exept the location to beach

We loved Smugglers Lookout. It was nicely furnished and clean and had everything we needed. The garden was a bit disappointing. There was nowhere to sit and enjoy the sea views in comfort. We also found the walk to the beach very challenging as it involved negotiating an extremely steep slope and think it should have been mentioned as being elderly we were unable to go down it and certainly couldnt get up it. Other than that we had a lovely holiday. Lots of interesting places to visit and wander around. We especially liked Holt.
