The village has two pubs, shop, post office, golf course, snooker hall, Indian takeaway and access to Marriott’s Way walking and cycle path. The city of Norwich is 5 miles for excellent shopping, theatre, castle museum, cathedral, fine restaurants, cafes and bars. North Norfolk Coast 25 miles. Shop and pub ¼ mile.

Had a lovely week here, however there were a few niggles. Equipped food six and very well too lots of plates cups etc. but 2 sofas not good, leather is not comfortable 1, 3 seater and 1, 2 seater. 2 comfortable chairs in the upstairs games room, but not downstairs where needed. A couple of easy chairs would have made a world of difference. The bathrooms were clean but needed a paint. Bigger would have helped, the sinks were really just handbasins and nowhere to put anything soap etc. advertised as ensuite, but barely big enough for adults, granddaughter loved the bath however.The whole place was lovely and clean, we enjoyed our stay, and we would go again, but it is looking a little tired.Lovely location handy for Norwich and the North Norfolk coast.
