No smoking. Please note: There are 3 steps from the verandah to the garden, and unfenced river access.. This very comfortable, spacious lodge enjoys a peaceful riverside setting which is very good for pike fishing (Nov-Jan when there are fewer boats on the water), with its own mooring on the banks of the Bure (view from garden shown in photograph). The living room has a 28in flat screen TV, and patio doors facing the river - dinghies and day boats are available for hire nearby. Shops and inns are within 0.75 miles at the Broadland ‘capital’ of Wroxham. The city of Norwich is only 20 minutes’ drive with fine shopping, restaurants and museums. Sandy beaches are about 12 miles away at Waxham and Sea Palling. Shops and pubs within 0.75 miles.

The Wherry was lovely. Beautiful location and we had a heron, ducks and geese visit us every day. The accommodation was perfect for my two disabled uncles. Had everything you needed. Highly recommend

We stayed here friday to monday. Absolutely fantastic location. Size of the house is amazing. We had the most incredible stay and will book to return next year.Only negative is the dishwasher didn't work very well we had to re wash everything.
