This holiday bungalow was recently refurbished in 2025 and offers a wonderful stay all year round having comfortable accommodation, with added touches of convenience including an iron/ironing board and hairdryer, as well as a conservatory overlooking the garden, a perfect spot to relax. Enjoying a coastal location, Turnstones is within walking distance from the sandy beach and village, boasting two pubs both serving food, a fish and chip shop, general store, cafe and ice cream parlour. Nearby towns provide a selection of supermarkets.
Visit the traditional seaside resort of Cromer, 12 miles, and discover the Edwardian seafront, promenade, pier and Amazonia Zoo. Drive to Wroxham, 12 miles, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads National Park where you can hire a day launch or join a cruise, watch the world drift by while enjoying local wildlife. Bacton Woods is close by with miles of woodland trails to explore. Ideal for cycling, picnic opportunities and great for dog walking. Bird watching, golf and fishing all available locally. If you can tear yourself away from the beach you will find a string of other coastal habitats to explore including marshes, sand dunes and pretty quays.
Venture a little further to Blakeney and take a boat trip to see the seals (seasonal) or enjoy a spot of crabbing on the quay. Head east and you’ll discover Great Yarmouth’s Golden Mile with all the fun of the fair and just a little further is Pleasurewood Hills, Norfolk’s only theme park. Enjoy a ride on the Bure Valley Railway from Wroxham and travel through the pretty Norfolk countryside to the bustling market town of Aylsham for a spot of shopping or lunch. With other attractions such as the tranquil Hickling Broad, Bewilderwood, Dinosaur Park at Lenwade, North Norfolk Railway and the medieval city of Norwich all within easy reach. This truly is the ideal location to be as active as you wish, or simply relax, rewind, and enjoy the seaside and its magical sunsets. Shop, pub, and restaurant 500 yards. Beach ¼ mile.

Our 2nd time at Turnstones The bungalow was very clean and homely with everything needed included little extras like dish wash tablets liquid soap loo rolls salt n pepper etc ! The welcome basket was thoughtful including treats for our dog. There is a sweet garden with plenty of seating choices The beach is less than a 5 min walk and local amenities a 10 min walk away If we had to pick a negative we would say a bigger bed with a more comfortable mattress and maybe a bigger shower cubicle but that’s subjective ! Overall we loved our stay and would return

This is a lovely bungalow. Clean and comfortable with everything you need for your stay. Lovely garden, secure and tidy, with plenty of seating for sunny days. A very short walk to the beach, but there is a steep slope to get to it, not good if you're a little unsteady on your feet. Short drive into Walcott which has a great fish snd chop shop and a small store for your essentials. Going back the other way us the Lighthouse Inn, great food with huge portions!Only two things we were disappointed with, we are slightly in the heavier side which made the shower a challenge as it's quite small and not a lot of elbow room. And the sea view is misleading, it is only a partial sea view visible between two buildings which block the full view.Overall we had a wonderful stay, only the weather was against us. 😊
