A comfortable and cosy cottage ideally situated in the centre of the town. It was quiet and peaceful with a lovely small courtyard which would be pleasant in warmer weather. It was well equipped throughout with excellent furnishings and decor. The owner was anxious to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction and to contact her if there were any queries at all. We very much enjoyed our stay there in a perfect location for good shops, pubs and cafes as well as nice local walks, particularly by the river. We certainly would not hesitate in recommending the cottage and Barnard Castle as a place to stay.

Cobblers cottage is one of the nicest cottages we have had the pleasure of staying in . It was cosy comfortable and the owners had provided everything that was needed . We will recommend it to our friends , and hopefully we will rent it again at some time to visit Barnards lovely town with the lovely walks and wonderful cafes and great food . In a nutshell it is perfect in every way .

Lovely cottage in a perfect location, on the main high street but set back slightly, so not noisy. Very comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again in the future!
