The property is well-equipped and the woodburner is efficient, but there are comments about the bathroom needing refurbishment and an issue with the wi-fi, which affects the score.

Third time we have stayed at this cottage Ideal location for getting around Durham, but, with peace and quiet. Great views from the property. Log burner is great on cold nights although the cottage is nice and warm all the time. The only downside is the bathroom is a bit dated and could do with a refurbishment.

We had a really enjoyable four days in the cottage which is on a hill and has wonderful views across the area. The cottage was big enough for us three adults and very well equipped for our needs. It was lovely to have the woodburner which is very efficient and was an absolute godsend as Storm Amy passed overhead. Location-wise it is easy to get into Durham (use the Sniperley Park and Ride), Beamish and Newcastle and out into the beautiful countryside.
