Excellent location for Newcastle and the surrounding area. Good enclosed garden for our dog with lots of walking from the doorstep. Welcoming touches in the flowers, biscuits etc. waiting for us. Great configuration of beds for our family of 5. However, the dining and living areas need improving to work for the 5 people that it is marketed for. Very small kitchen with minimal work surface space, and only 1 place setting per person.

Fantastic cottage in a great location - Country walks right from the doorstep, yet only 20 minutes from Newcastle by rail from Wylam. The cottage was perfect for our family of five with lots of thoughtful extras supplied (books, board games, DVDs). Small shop for essentials within walking distance was handy too.
