Really enjoyed the stay. The cottage was clean, spacious, warm with all the amenities including a generous welcome basket. Linda was always very helpful if we needed something. Highly recommend for a couple seeking a nice quiet place to relax.
SALLY CHAPMAN
It’s a gorgeous and spacious property with everything you would want. Very comfortable and quiet. The owners are very welcoming and are at hand if you need anything and we were greeted with super welcome pack and the fresh eggs was amazing. There is so much to see and do in the area as well as train station near by if you don’t want to drive far especially to the Newcastle or we went to Edinburgh which wasn’t to experience.
Margret
If you like peace and quiet and wide open spaces and views, as we do, this is perfect. It's attached to a former farmhouse, lovely hosts and 3 very curious chickens, situated in a hamlet 2 miles from the village of Matfen and 10 miles.from the market town of Hexham. Warm and cozy, comfortable bed and sofas and a lovely conservatory, perfect for sitting and reading. A real get-away-from-it-all retreat
