If you want a action packed fun resort holiday this isn’t for you .. not enough activities going on for kids on site .. only small facilities. Found out a lot of advertised activities wasn’t on that week we was there ? Location is fab if you don’t mind driving.. Arbeia Roman fort (30mins drive ) Amble beautiful marina (40/50 mins drive) the st Mary’s lighthouse and the seafront right on your doorstep.. beautiful restaurants nearby.. which we booked in advance to avoid disappointment. Local amenities good too , Tesco express , takeaways 0.8 miles away.
