Ideal for visiting many places, all within easy distance. Thanks to the owners and Honey the dog, also thanks for the treats.

When mentioning to the owner - within a couple of hours of arrival - that the toilet seat was very unstable, nothing was done to rectify it. 2. The cleanliness was poor, made worse by the state of the oven, so much so that we decided not to use it throughout our stay. 3. The general decor is in need of attention and improvement - many examples could be provided. 4. The furniture is very dated, although that is not necessarily a negative. 5. It is more likely that "older" guests will rent the property, as it is only suitable for two persons. It should be pointed out that the shower is tricky to access within the bath, being a) a high bath panel, and b) the proximity of the wash hand basin. We suggest that Sykes looks at this situation. 6. We suggest you look at the glass in the patio door windows - the double glazing needs replacement.

Nice quiet location close to Alnwick. Andrew was friendly and helpful, (thank you). We had a great week. Would definitely go again.
