Nearby Alnwick, the ducal town with its majestic castle used in Harry Potter’s Hogwarts, enchanting water gardens and cobbled streets will delight all the family. Close by is Warkworth, another popular village with its castle ruins, tea shops and galleries, which can be reached on foot for enthusiastic walkers (approx 2 miles). Stunning walks can be taken along the coastline on this stretch of the coast, and Bamburgh with its fortress of a castle should not be missed. Littlecroft is centrally located for all the North East attractions and is only 2 minutes from the mainline station and good bus service. Golf course in village. A great base to explore Alnmouth and the local area. Very well equipped cottage with ample space to socialise. No noise at all from the pub next door.One or two minor things that needed fixing but all in all a fabulous place to stay!Highly recommended.

The house is in a brilliant location. Absolutely everything we needed was there. Kitchen was excellently equipped for our family dinners. Plenty of seating. Well laid out accommodation for a family get together.

We really enjoyed our long weekend stay at Littlecroft. It is ideally located in the middle of Alnmouth which really suited our purposes noting that we have travelled their by train. It was well laid out, furnished and equipped, with ample space for us all (6 adults). Communication from the owners was clear and helpful. We'd happily stay there again - highly recommended.
