A lovely place to stay. It is a great house, lots of room and with everything we needed. The reserved parking was a real plus too. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any queries. We would definitely book again.

Having stayed in many cottages, it was very comfortable and in a good location,but there were small things that you feel should be there because it is a luxury accommodation, we could not get the washing machine to work, no condiments, no cling film or foil, no liners in waste paper baskets bathrooms had no bins, limited amount of towels the garden at the back looked a mess. The information pack was very untidy needed updating.and the information to locate the property was very misleading. Various areas was not cleaned as should be. Last but not least only given 4 dishwasher tablets for a house that can sleep 8 why not put 7 in one for every day.

enjoyed our stay at solors rest very convenient for motoring aroundbeautiful northumberland and walking distance for the restaurants in alnmouth which we would recomend booking in advance as always busy.the beds were very comfortable.and good parking for the car. 3 friends from yorkshire
