Family of 6 age range 1 to 76. We have stayed here before. The house location is perfect for walking to the beach/village/playground and is very peaceful. Plentiful parking is great; we took 3 cars and parked easily. The house is spacious and well planned with a well equipped kitchen, utility room and sitting room with comfortable sofas sufficient for everyone to be comfortable. Bedrooms are big with huge wardrobes and drawer space, beds comfortable and plenty of pillows. Moses basket and travel cot available., Showers are efficient and there is endless hot water for both showers and baths. The bathroom radiators work well and quickly; not always the case in many houses, and the heating is simple to work and efficient. Washer, dryer and washing line are very useful after the beach with kids.We have had very comfortable holidays here, and will return again.

On opening the front door it was apparent that the house hadn’t been vacuumed. The kitchen was semi clean but after having a closer look the chairs and table were sticky and grubby and the dishwasher was mucky, crumbs in the drawers and the fridge needed a wipe. The toilet roll holder in the downstairs toilet was rusting, cobwebs and spiders in every room, mirror lights didn’t work, ensuite bathroom toilet seat was wonky and the bathroom itself smelt of damp, towel heaters didn’t work to give a dry towel , some downlighters didn’t work and a couple of door handles were loose. After contacting the owner, she agreed to come and clean but after a chat I was told I was being picky and had OCD and was offered a refund and it was suggested i didn’t return again to what she called “ just a holiday let” I think the house has so much potential and its location is perfect but needs some proper love and attention if you’re asking over £2000 a week. Just my opinion and I will be emailing the agency with this feedback too.
