Formerly a working malthouse, this unique building is steeped in history and has been converted into a collection of apartments, which simply ooze charm and character. This lovely apartment is situated on the first floor which can be accessed via stairs or a fully operational lift if preferred. This bright and airy apartment enjoys views across the town. Set all on one level, you enter the property into a large, bright, and airy hallway leading you straight through into the modern kitchen/dining/ living room. The kitchen area is finished with sleek white gloss units with all appliances integrated, the perfect kitchen to host some great meals. The living area offers the opportunity to cosy up on the two sofas after a fun filled day exploring the town. Across the hall you will find two double bedrooms both occupying kingsize beds and the bathroom situated between the two bedrooms.
When you’re ready to begin exploring this historic town, begin with a trip to the incredible and famous Alnwick Castle, one of the largest inhabited castles in the UK and used as ‘Hogwarts’ when filming scenes for the ‘Harry Potter’ films so it’s a must-visit for any fans. The Alnwick Garden is also an exciting visit with its spectacular interpretation of a formal garden, including the Grand Cascade waterfall, poison garden and largest tree house in Europe where guests can dine in the restaurant. Heading 4 miles east is the picture-perfect coastal village of Alnmouth where there is a gorgeous golden sandy beach. Gorgeous accommodation, 2 double bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. 1 was en suit with walk in shower & 1 with a bath & shower over. Also provides a hairdryer. Lovely kitchen with everything you would need for your stay. Also a lovely relaxing space with 2 sofas and a chair. So plenty of space for 4 people to chill in the evening. It is opposite a Morrisons which is very handy and only a couple of minutes into the centre of town.

Fabulous apartment with everything you need in the centre of Alnwick. Full range of local shops and restaurants on your doorstep and it's also the perfect base to explore all that Northumberland has to offer. Hosts were very friendly and pre-arrival communication was great. We would definitely return.

Loved the stay. Excellent accommodation in a great location. Well placed to see the best Northumberland has to offer. On the days you don’t want to travel Alnwick offers lovely walks, great shops (including a large second hand book store) and excellent eateries. Highly recommend.
