The marina, harbour, sandy beaches and coastal walks are all to be enjoyed along with the bird sanctuary at Hauxley and country park at Druridge Bay. The coastal villages of Alnmouth and Craster and numerous beaches are only a short drive away and you can also enjoy a boat trip over to Coquet Island.

House was well equipped. Only negative was it could do with a stick blender in the kitchen. Great gas cooker as we eat in. Shower position a bit challenging when hair washing. For the money it was very good and we would come back.

The enclosed garden was great for our dog and it was a bonus to have private parking. The extras left for us on arrival (bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee & biscuits) were very much appreciated. The cottage is very spacious and comfortable and was very well equipped. We hope to be back in the future.
