Guests appreciate its spaciousness, cleanliness, and value for money, though some furnishings and maintenance aspects could be improved. The location is ideal for exploring nearby sites, and the property is pet-friendly.
The property is generally well-kept and very clean, with only minor comments about pet hair, which suggests good overall cleanliness.
The cottage's location is highly praised for its proximity to local amenities and attractions like Bamburgh and Holy Island, making it an excellent base for exploring Northumberland.
While the property is described as roomy and comfortable, there are several complaints about outdated and uncomfortable furniture, particularly the beds and living room seating, which affects the comfort score.

Enjoyed a great warm and comfortable stay in this bungalow on the edge of the village of Belford within easy walking distance of all amenities, village shop, coffee shop and 3 pubs. Ideal for exploring the Northumberland Coast just 5 miles inland from Bamburgh.Only issue is the postcode that actually takes you away from rather than to the property so ignore and follow the instructions provided! Will definitely stay again in the future!

Good location with easy reach to many places to visit and Bamburgh beach is amazing. The cottage is roomy and bright. However the furniture in the living room is very dated and not very comfortable. The kitchen equipment needs updating eg a better set of pans to cook with and some chopping boards at least a bread board would be good, it is self catering. But the worst thing is the beds and mattresses must be at least 20 years old, the mattresses on the single beds in both rooms were so rubbish my husband woke up in the night with painful spasm in his back and even our teenagers complained. Also the pillows need changing they are like pancakes.

Excellent directions, plenty of space, a very nice welcome pack was very much appreciated, only a short walk into Belford centre. Very convenient for Bamburgh Castle, short drive to Lindisfarne, Seahouses. A very good location for us.
