Dating from around 1830, this beautiful two bedroomed cottage (formerly known as Clover Cottage) offers character with a contemporary finish, providing an ideal base for exploring Northumberland and the Heritage Coastline.

All on the ground floor, Peewit Cottage has been refurbished to a high standard. A small entrance porch leads to a lovely sitting room which has a dining area and a wood burning stove, to the rear is a well-equipped kitchen with all you need to prepare a snack or meal. The spacious master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom is a twin bedroom with full size twin beds with a modern shower room completing the accommodation. At the rear of the cottage, steps lead up to a fully enclosed private garden; with decking and furniture, this is a lovely spot where you can sit and relax with a refreshing drink whilst you plan your next day's activities. From the cottage, it is an easy stroll to the centre of Belford, a former coaching village with a lovely square and a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. The village is located just under a mile from the A1 so it's very easy to explore the whole of Northumberland from here. Just a 10 minute drive away is the coastal village of Bamburgh with its stunning castle and glorious beaches. Also within easy reach are Lindisfarne, Chillingham Castle - famous for its rare herd of wild cattle, the Cheviot Hills, and the Scottish Borders. This beautiful cottage is the perfect base to experience the delights of the Northumberland coastline with its famous castles, deserted beaches and excellent pubs and restaurants.
