We used the cottage as a base to discover Northumberland and was within easy travelling distance to all the main attractions through its proximity to the A1. The cottage was very clean and spacious giving all 4 of us plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was the hub of the home and our dog loved the enclosed garden. We will definitely look to return at some date in the future

Excellent place to stay, clean and comfortable beds. Plenty of room for up to 8 people to stay. Very good location to access the many sights and attractions. The welcome hamper was a nice touch. The only negative point we found was that the property had only 2 showers and the upstairs 2 bedrooms had only one bathroom between them.

We had an excellent stay here. We were 6 adults, 2 children and a dog. Plenty of room for all. Cottage was very clean and tidy. Great facilities. The welcome hamper on arrival was much appreciated. Lots of wardrobe space& drawers in all rooms. Enclosed garden was great for our Vizsla. Close to the village where there is a local Coop and pubs and a great place to stay to get to all tourist attractions; Bamburgh, Holy Island, Alnwick etc. Could do with a bit more cutlery and crockery as only one set per person. When using dishwasher we ran out but this is a minor thing. Shower handle in upstairs bathroom needs attention as if not careful you cannot open the door from the inside and can get stuck inside.We had a great long weekend stay here, thank you.
