The attractive village of Lowick is well placed for an enjoyable holiday in Northumberland. The Etal Estate is nearby and offers cycling, fishing, a mini railway and other activities, making it an ideal destination for a fun family day out. The pretty village of Ford has a castle and craft shops and is only two miles away from Lowick. There are eight golf courses within a 20-mile radius of Lowick, so golfers are well catered for. To the west of the village is Drayton Park with its renowned gardens. The beautiful Heritage Coastline, Holy Island and Lindisfarne, the Cheviot Hills and the historical border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed can be easily reached from this location. A great base for exploring this lovely area.

Wildlife in area includes hares, deer.

There is also a local conservation that can be visited.
