About this property

This cosy, one bedroom Terrace cottage is situated in the heart of Beadnell, just a short stroll from the beach, restaurants and village shop. This cottage is a perfect holiday base for touring the beautiful Northumberland Heritage Coast. Well decorated and furnished throughout, there is a compact kitchen, a sleek shower room, a pretty double bedroom and a cosy sitting area with a warming feature electric fire. To the front of the cottage there is an enclosed patio and small garden, perfect for a morning coffee or alfresco dining. Beadnell is a popular destination on the Northumberland Coast, the sweeping golden beach and magnificent sand dunes are a magnet for walkers and watersports enthusiasts alike.

The nearby pubs and restaurants are a hive of activity, serving good food for the whole family. A short drive from Beadnell will take you to many attractions including the castles at Alnwick, Warkworth, Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh. Holy Island, Hadrian’s Wall and Berwick-upon-Tweed are also within easy reach. This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Close to beach and local amenities (shame the little shop has closed on sea front) Owner found out we were staying due to my birthday so very kindly left birthday card and a little gift which was much appreciated All In all just a nice little bolt hole to get away for some down time just to chill out

Our thanks to the property owner for the thought she has put into this cottage to make it so welcoming.

Having had a bad experience with Sykes on a booking earlier in the year it was such a relief to return to a cottage I know in a location I love. Alison goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Will definitely return especially as I was lucky enough to see the Northern Lights on this visit. Spectacular
