Located just minutes from Beadnell Bay, The Stables at Swinhoe offers the perfect base for a relaxing getaway or an adventure-filled holiday. Beadnell Bay is renowned for its stunning beach, where you can enjoy a leisurely beach stroll, rock pooling with the children, or try water sports like kite surfing, paddleboarding, and sea canoeing. As you walk along the beach, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the impressive ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle—a must-see landmark that is just a short distance away. The charming village of Beadnell is also home to two fantastic pub/restaurants, a general store, and a café/bistro, making it an ideal spot for a laid-back afternoon or evening out. For more exploration, cycle or walk the coastal paths to Seahouses for boat cruises to the Farne Islands, or visit Craster’s picturesque harbour and the secluded bay at Embleton. You will also be able to visit Bamburgh Castle, with its sweeping beach and vibrant village, as well as Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Holy Island, and Berwick-upon-Tweed’s historic market town—all within easy reach.
Step inside this charming holiday home and you will be greeted by a welcoming hallway. At one end, a step down leads you into the spacious, light-filled open-plan kitchen/diner. Here, you will find a range-style gas hob and electric oven, large fridge/freezer, microwave, Tassimo coffee machine, dishwasher, and washer, perfect for preparing family feasts. The kitchen island is a great place to enjoy a drink while chatting with the chef. The large dining table allows everyone to sit together for memorable meals, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the courtyard. The inviting lounge is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploration. Curl up on one of the comfortable sofas and enjoy the warmth of the wood burner, or settle in for a movie night with the Smart TV. On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom with attractive oak furniture and a TV. The family bathroom has a bath, separate shower cubicle, and WC. Upstairs, you’ll find a study area with a desk and chair, plus three bedrooms: the generous master bedroom, with a king-size bed, walk-in closet, and smart TV, and an en-suite shower room with WC. There are also two single bedrooms, each with its own shower room and WC.
Outside, you will find a small enclosed courtyard with garden seating, perfect for enjoying a morning cuppa or evening drinks. The farm gate can be closed for added privacy. A step down from the kitchen leads to an ideal space to store outdoor clothing, walking boots, water sports equipment, and bikes. There’s off-road parking for one car in front of the property and space for a second small car inside the garden area.
