The property has a welcoming homely ambience and the accommodation is very well presented throughout.
Beadnell is a popular holiday destination and offers local facilities including family friendly pubs serving good food and a village shop. The golden sandy beach Beadnell Bay is renowned for is very close by; a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, including sailing, kite-surfing, paddle boarding and scuba diving. Beadnell Bay can be described as the jewel in Northumberland’s seaside crown; idyllic for a romantic barefoot stroll in the sand. Two miles up the coastline is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony, depart regularly from its harbour. Here there are several charming tea rooms, quaint pubs and shops with horse-riding; fishing and golf on the links close by being only a sample of the many amenities available in this popular location.
A further 3 miles up the coastline is the picturesque village of Bamburgh, which lies snuggled in the shadow of its majestic fortress and commands the power and presence of the seasoned television set it regularly becomes. Holy Island, the birthplace of Christianity and site of Lindisfarne Castle, can be seen from the unspoilt golden, sandy beach. Just a few miles inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle (and film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Academy!). Visitors will enjoy a trip to Alnwick Garden, a spectacular interpretation of a formal garden including the Grand Cascade waterfall and restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe! Great location just a minute's walk to the beach, plus it's on the Northumberland coast path with lovely walks in either direction. There's a village shop just up the road and an eatery across the road. We had a pizza from BAE, which is in the car park next door, and had dinners at the Courtyard cafe, which is a short drive away. Both definitely recommended. The accommodation was bright, clean and very well equipped. The rooms were large with plenty of storage space, and the beds were comfortable. Excellent communication from the owners, and we'd definitely stay there again.

Beautifully designed apartment with lots of space, light and bright with everything provided for. Having a balcony was a bonus and also a sea view. It was great to be so near the beach and only being a minutes walk away from it. We enjoyed all our walks along the beaches with the sea lapping at our toes it was like being on a deserted desert island a lot of the time as we were the only people on the beaches……bliss!!! We enjoyed ourselves very much.
