Dunes Court is a first floor apartment nestled amongst similar properties, situated less than 100 yards from the beautiful wide expanses of Beadnell Bay. Beautifully furnished throughout, with lots of thoughtful touches to ensure you have a welcoming and comfortable base to return to after a day of exploring. The communal hallway and stairs lead you up to the apartment. Stepping inside double glass doors open up into the spacious living room, with two large comfy sofas in front of large windows facing the sea. This room is open plan with the dining area, making this an inviting social space. The adjoining kitchen is well equipped, ideal for a self-catering stay. The balcony is the perfect spot to look out to the sea. There are two bedrooms, the master king bedroom as well as a bedroom with a double with a single bunk bed over, making this versatile for two couples as well as families. The apartment is completed with the well-presented bathroom.
Beadnell is a popular holiday destination and offers local facilities including family friendly pubs serving good food and a village shop. The golden sandy beach Beadnell Bay is renowned for is very close by; a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, including sailing, kite-surfing, paddle boarding and scuba diving. Beadnell Bay can be described as the jewel in Northumberland’s seaside crown, idyllic for a romantic barefoot stroll in the sand. Just 2 miles up the coastline is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony, depart regularly from its harbour. Here there are several charming tea rooms, quaint pubs and shops with horse-riding; fishing and golf on the links close by being only a sample of the many amenities available in this popular location.
A further 3 miles up the coastline is the picturesque village of Bamburgh, which lies snuggled in the shadow of its majestic fortress and commands the power and presence of the seasoned television set it regularly becomes. Holy Island, the birthplace of Christianity and site of Lindisfarne Castle, can be seen from the unspoilt golden sandy beach. Just a few miles inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle (and film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Academy!). Visitors will enjoy a trip to Alnwick Garden, a spectacular interpretation of a formal garden including the Grand Cascade waterfall and restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe! This is a great choice for dog owners as many of the beaches, cafes and pubs in this area are dog friendly, and there are some incredible walks from your doorstep to discover. All year round this is a great destination, whether you wish to walk bare foot along the beach in the balmy sunshine, or watch in awe as waves whip the sea into a foaming frenzy, here at Dunes Court you can even hear the sea from your windows. We spent a week at Dunes Court. The apartment is was very clean and well presented. We went as a couple and the accommodation was perfect for us. Definitely a place to go and relax especially if you , like us, enjoy long walks on a beautiful quiet beach.

Very comfortable first floor apartment in good location for beach walks and very good local pub/restaurant a stone’s throw away. Balcony is very welcome, allowing some outside sitting space.

A clean, comfortable, warm apartment with a slight sea view balcony. We have stayed in a few similar flats and this was one of the better ones. The double bunk bed was useful as there were 4 adults. There were ample hooks in the bathroom & everything worked as it should. A welcome basket was a nice touch. Very close to the beach, this is a good base from which to explore the coast. Covered parking for a medium size car is nearby but pigeons roost in the rafters so parked in the yard. Recommended .
