Surprisingly spacious cottage, well equipped and comfortable. Nice sitting out area with view over the wall to a grassed area and woodland, House Martins diving around and rabbits grazing while we were there. The adjacent hotel is impressive, nice comfortable bar and other lounge areas, we dined in the beautiful dining room on our last night, in our opinion the meal was less than impressive, quite ordinary at extraordinary prices, we should have gone to one of the local pubs which are generally excellent and very friendly.
