We had everything we needed, even egg cups as generally they arenât available and we take our own. Lovely back garden which backed onto the field with the horse, made it so peaceful and tranquil. You could literally hear a pin drop. Lots of amazing walks straight out of the door, and within easy reach of Berwick, Holy Island, Alnwick and smaller coastal villages Seahouses, Bamburgh, Alnmouth,Warkworth and Amble all worth a visit. Amazing food at The Courtyard and The Landing in Beadnell Village. Couldnât fault our stay. Tea, coffee, milk and cookies were much appreciated when we arrived as were the pretty flowers. A lovely week and we will be back! Thank you to Julie and Alan

Comfortable furniture and beds with everything needed for a week's holiday. Lovely weather was the icing on the cake. Only a short walk to the beach which our dog loved. Would definitely recommend Lavender Cottage and would book again.

The owners went to a lot of trouble to make us feel welcome and to quickly put right the slight problem with the toilet - for which we were very grateful. It was a very comfortable place, in a quiet, peaceful location - we really enjoyed being there. Thank you!
