We had a super week in Seashell. Owners are lovely - helped us negotiate the key safe (we are pretty thick sometimes).Cottage has been tastefully modernised and is light and airy. Brilliant location for food and walking.

This cottage is in an ideal location because it is situated within a few minutes walk of two restaurants and a pub, all of which are reasonably priced and serve excellent food. The courtyard is the most reasonable where you can get a bowl of soup and a hot roll for just £7.00. The plates are piled high with each meal. the location of the cottage is in a very quiet area where traffic is a minimum and in the conservatory you can sit and watch the birds roosting in the evening. Anyone wanting a bit of excitement should go for a flight in a microlight which is situated at Eshott airfield near Felton . the entance is just off the A1 towards Morpeth. It is fantastic. I am 90 years old and loved every minute.
