Enjoyed a very relaxing week at this cottage, great value for money. Very comfortable, warm and cosy. Not a complaint but there could have been a few more cooking dishes for the oven. Bed was very comfortable and slept like a baby. From a woman’s point of view would be better to have a mirror and power point near the drawers and the wardrobe could have been bigger. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was excellent. Location was fine for my partner and I , very quiet and aided a good nights sleep. The animals on the working farm were a highlight. The host family were at hand if needed and greeted us upon arrival. The farm track was fine if you drove slowly. Would recommend and hope to return to such a beautiful part of the country where there is so much to see and do and appreciate what a wonderful country we live in.

A really lovely, comfortable cottage that has been beautifully converted to a high standard with everything we needed for a great holiday. It is very quiet, and we enjoyed walking into Elsdon with its friendly pub. Great stars on a clear night too.

Had a lovely weeks holiday at Spindle Well. Location is isolated but worked well for us as we wanted a central base to do the coast, Hadrian's wall and Kielder. Barn is very comfortable. Bed is excellent as is the shower. Owners are lovely and on hand if needed. Would recommend.
