2nd visit and still a great place and plenty more to visit. The new kitchen is a great improvement for practical reasons. We will be back for a 3rd visit.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Great welcome pack for dogs and humans. Enclosed garden for dogs and friendly pub a short walk away. Very peaceful, saw a barn owl a few times which was nesting in the back of the house. Mezzanine bedroom not the most comfortable plus not recommended if you’re the first to bed as you can hear everything! Would still definitely recommend.

Absolutely magical! Deer, barn owls, diverse wildlife and nature on the doorstep.A short drive to some cracking local pubs with great food, and plenty of forests, fishing and walks nearby.The accommodation is second to none, with plenty of space and nipping clean - everything has been provided including a welcome pack, picnic equipment and kitchen ware - lovely big range means cooking is ideal if you want a night in next to the wood burners - both of which are made up ready for arrival. Can't fault the Haining and the support staff!
