We have just spent a few cosy nights away here. Tucked out of the way lovely and quiet. Brilliant for much needed down time and positioned well for setting off and exploring Newcastle Seahouses and surrounding coastline. The people who own this Barn have styled it perfectly. All comforts taken care of. That bed is so nice and waking up in the morning just wonderful to see nature.Don’t get me started on the log fire a glass of wine and my two favourite things, dog and husband by my side. So it was a cold February but snuggled in the barn will be a lasting memory. Really don’t say this often, I want to go back. Thank you Vicky and Simon a beautiful stay.

Quarry Barn is a wonderful, comfortable gem of a retreat. Perfect for couples looking for tranquility and calm……. but if you want to party, just crank up the speakers and turn on the glitter ball! The barn is beautifully converted, furnished and decorated with great upcycled chic mixed with contemporary design. The underfloor heating is awesome. Vicky and Simon are cheerful and helpful hosts. We would definitely book Quarry Barn again when visiting the North East.

A lovely barn. Cosy, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Everything we needed, and lots of thoughtful little touches that made for a relaxing break. Out in the sticks, which is what we were looking for but not too far in the car to places of interest/ nice places to eat. Really enjoyed meeting Vicky, the host. Thank you, Vicky. We will be back :)
