This is a fresh, ground floor apartment based in the stunning seaside town of Amble in Northumberland. Open plan living, comfortable seating, a selection of books and games, WIFI and the excellent location make this apartment perfect for a small group to come and enjoy a break by the sea. The seaport of Amble is at the mouth of the River Coquet and is an ideal place for exploring Northumberland. Amble offers a marina, a harbour, beaches and coastal walks to Hauxley and Druridge Bay. Large fishing boats moor along the harbour wall and land fish, prawns, crabs and lobsters. There is a fish centre on the side of the harbour that is now a shell fish hatchery, this sells fish and is open to the public. A mile south of Amble is Coquet Island, an rspb reserve with terns, puffins and ducks and boat trips around the island. Alnmouth and Craster and numerous beaches are only a short drive away, whilst Warkworth with its castle, charming Alnwick with its castle and award-winning gardens, and the National Trust’s Wallington Hall and Cragside are all within easy reach.

The off road parking is a bit tight when the upstairs apartment is occupied but there is plenty of parking spaces in the street. Highly recommended

Warm , clean and comfortable. In middle of town near all facilities. Lots of places to visit. Bus service very good Highly recommended

The new parking arrangement is also an improvement as we can now get the wheelchair in through the back door. The provision in the property is very good with everything you need for a comfortable stay. A couple of things that would improve accessibility for us personally would be to have grab rails either side of the front door as the step is quite high and narrow. Also a higher seated sofa as the current one is to low and soft for my husband to use.
