Newbiggin-by-the-Sea is a small coastal town in Northumberland. The town has a selection of shops and pubs, as well as a beach. Northumberland itself is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife. 3.3 miles away is the large town of Ashington and within reach is Stakeford, which overlooks the River Wansbeck. Nine miles away is the location of the delightful market town of Morpeth which is situated centrally in Northumberland and offers the remains of an historic castle, lovely parks, riverside walks, ancient architecture and churches and an old chantry with a bagpipe museum.
