A lovely, very clean flat with broadband, 5 minutes from the beach. Perfect for walking or dog holidays. Try the Ink Spot, Cresswell Hill Car park for solitude and open beaches and Embleton to Low Newtown beach walk finishing with lunch at the Ship Inn. The Coble is also a great local pub. Make your own food as the non fish and chip takeaways are really grim. Owners super helpful. Lovely flat - amazing coast. what is there not to like.

Lovely little flat on the ground floor. Ideal if you have a pet. Back yard is very small & bland but opens into car park area at back of property, which is handy when loading/unloading the car. Front entrance is on main high street. Flat was warm, compact with everything you could need -extra heating available from fire & electric heaters if you needed it. Lovely welcoming basket with milk & butter in the fridge & treats, bowls & bed for the dog.Bed was a bit uncomfortable (hard mattress) with not a lot of space.Seats in living room are not ideal for older people - although this seems to be the norm in holiday let's - uncomfortable position for watching t.v as well, which is quite high up on wall. On the plus side, the location of the property in the town is brilliant with everything within walking distance. Ideal for out & abouters with the sea just across the road (although you can't see it from the flat) & the fantastic bakery next door.Newbiggin-by-the-Sea is a beautiful, quaint, time warp retreat. Sonia (the owner) is so helpful, friendly & welcoming. Only thing missing was a hairdryer. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
