It’s a lovely cottage. We have stayed there before and would not hesitate to book again. Could do with a television upstairs when the weather is bad.

Contacted the owner about these, she arranged for a plumber to check this (we were not in the cottage at the time). Apparently if there are fumes they are not dangerous to health and comply with safety regulations. Unfortunately this did not stop the fumes from happening and we note from previous reviews for this property others have mentioned the issue but obviously nothing has been done to solve the issue. Please can others be made aware of this issue prior to booking as the smell left us feeling nauseous and headachy and was a blight to an otherwise lovely holiday.
