Guests say

Seascape Cottage in Seahouses is highly praised for its cleanliness, well-equipped nature, and superb location close to the beach and local amenities. Guests have enjoyed the stunning views, especially from the upper bedroom, and the property's suitability for coastal walks. While there are some concerns about heating and parking, the overall experience is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as spotlessly clean and well presented, indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The cottage's location is frequently commended for its proximity to shops, the beach, and the coastal path, making it an ideal spot for visitors looking to explore the area.

The property is generally considered warm and cosy, with a particularly comfortable upstairs room offering impressive views. However, some guests noted issues with the heating system and a lack of privacy in the attic bedroom.

Facilities are well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and necessary amenities. However, there are comments about the lack of valves on some radiators and suggestions for improvements to the driveway and parking arrangements.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

The weather was cold but bright and lovely for coastal walks from the doorstep in both directions. For a longer walk we caught the bus from the top of the street towards Craster and walked back. A real highlight of the cottage was the upstairs room with fabulous views across to the Farne Islands on one side and the sheltered balcony which caught the morning sun on the other.

It was exactly what we wanted. The upstairs double bedroom views were amazing. The property had everything you would need for a lovely stay. Would stay here again.
