This end terrace holiday property is located close to the harbour in the old part of the pretty seaside village of Seahouses. This typical fisherman’s cottage has batten doors and a stonework hearth with a cosy woodburner for those chilly evenings. A short stroll and you are amongst the friendly village pubs and gift shops. Take a boat trip from the harbour to the Farne Islands to see the puffins or drive a little further up the coast to Bamburgh, with its most photographed golden beach. An ideal location for all generations to explore the delights of the Northumberland Heritage coastline and beyond. Shop 800 yards, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

Not great! No wifi! Tv doesn’t work properly The place needs redecorating! But sea houses is a fantastic place!

The cottage was well located , although there was a noisy pub across the road.Parking is first come first served , we were lucky that many of the other cottages in the immediate area were empty but in summer I should imagine parking is terrible.The property is showing signs of disrepair, flaring plaster on several walls, the front door (only door in the property) was rotten and had to be opened and shut using your shoulder

Generally good. A few things would make life easier. There's nowhere to hang damp towels - hooks on doors maybe? The towel rail on the door in the shower room is broken, so hand towels end up on the floor. The shower door is difficult to open & close & it's just as well I didn't bring a different friend, he'd never have got in it! Very small. Also, there's absolutely nowhere in the shower cubicle to put anything, soap, shampoo etc. One of those hanging thingies would be a great help. So, only minor things & we loved it. Beautiful place. Annoyingly, we had to put bottles in the normal rubbish. I wandered around looking for a bottle bank but no luck & with no car....
