It can be found in the heart of the market town of Guisborough on the Northern edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. With stunning interior design and with a private hot tub this cottage is just perfect for a couple or small family to enjoy a romantic break away exploring the National Park and breathtaking Yorkshire coastline that is just 5 miles away. Step in from Guisborough’s main street and into the charming cottage to be welcomed by a wonderful living/dining room. This property oozes charm and character with exposed brick walls and beams. Deep filled sofas are perfectly placed in font of the wood burner, a perfect spot for a romantic night in with your favourite holiday movie. The dining table sits to one end and offers plenty of seating for four. An archway leads through to the bespoke, fully-eqipped kitchen, offering everything you need to cook a great meal. The corrugated wall and flamingo print provide a real talking point and make this room a real feature of the cottage. Leading through from the kitchen is the ground floor bathroom which features a walk-in shower with large built in seat, again the interior design of this room is faultless.
Cottage stairs lead up from the living/dining room and here you can find two stunning bedrooms, a wood panelled twin bunk room (for children) with exposed beams and the master double room. From this room take the paddle stairs to the converted attic cinema room. Here you can stretch out, relax, and watch a movie after a long day exploring the local area. The Twisted Toad offers an enclosed courtyard which is also very artfully designed with covered private hot tub and additional seating. Perfect for an early morning coffee or a romantic al fresco evening meal.
A short stroll from the front door will bring you to the very centre of this pretty market town which offers a good range of amenities as well as a ruined abbey to explore. A short drive will bring you into the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the local landmark, Roseberry Topping or more affectionally known as ‘Yorkshire’s Matterhorn’. This historic holiday home is an ideal base from which to explore, with miles of cycle routes and walking opportunities to enjoy. The historic coastline is just 5 miles away too. Beautiful Cottage, lovely and clean. Plenty of fresh towels, comfortable beds. Lots of gorgeous character and quaint. Hot tub area well maintained. Perfect location for walks, bike rides, local shops and a short drive to Whitby. A couple of things could do with some TLC, The oven only has one shelf, other one is missing. The fridge has parts missing also and the freezer is full of ice and the door doesn't close. So you cant really use it.
