The Salthouse was a great base to visit the Sunderland coastline also just a few minutes from Seaborn promenade and only about 35 minutes from the outdoor Beamish Museum, which is a must ! The house is big enough for two,quaintly decorated and well equipped,we found it very clean.Although there is no on site parking we never found any difficulty with street parking,there was alway a place to park no matter what time of day or evening.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.David the owner was so quick to return our phone call nothing seem too much trouble..

We've been a couple of times now. It's close to the beach and local shops ,pubs. Transport is really easy with the metro on the doorstep. The house is clean and comfortable. What's not to love.
