Really enjoyed this quirky retreat. Walk out the door to be greeted by the 3 Alpacas, who will need feeding ( food is supplied by the host) or bring your own carrots. We enjoyed the secluded aspect , just what is needed to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The stroll along the canal towpath and river( approx 5 k) was perfect as you can start and end at the pub.Hosts are very helpful and friendly.

A great stay. The alpacas were very friendly and entertaining. The lodge was comfortable and had everything we needed for a quiet weekend away. Lovely walks along the canal and nice local pub, too.
