Would go again but in the summer, it was impossible to get the temperature to a comfortable 22 degrees with the e.quipment provided. The microwave was only attempted once but was defective causing flashing and sparking (owner made aware). It was also assumed that most meals would be taken out as only one saucepan and casserole dish. Location very good and Alpacas most friendly

Booked so that my sister could convalesce following a stay in hospital. Very cosy and had everything we needed. Loved the alpacas who greeted us as we came and went and they enjoyed being hand fed. Perfect for some mindfulness, we loved watching the wildlife from the sofa including two very playful squirrels. Local pub the Leigh Arms was walking distance and served lovely lunches. The Riverside Acton Bridge serves a fab Sunday carvery. Enjoyed delightful morning walks along the River Weaver and the canal. Came home thoroughly relaxed.

Had such a lovely time staying at the Alpaca lodge. So much fun walking out of the lodge and being greeted by the Alpacas. The area was quiet and peaceful - perfect place to relax and switch off. A lot of walkable routes nearby but we unfortunately didnt have the weather to really take advantage of this. We had a couple of isues when we first arrived and the host was more than happy to come and help us as soon as posible. Would definitely recommend staying here!!
