Lovely comfortable cottage in a gorgeous location. Perfect for us for visiting family nearby. We will definitely be staying again in the future. Communication with the owner was excellent before our arrival.

We stayed for four nights over the New Year and the Hen House was perfect for this. The property is tastefully furnished with quality. Cooking facilities for simple meals if the need arises which we used due to time of year. We spent a day in Chester using Park & Ride, a lovely visit to Tarporely village which was great with independent shops, cafes and pubs. On New years day a local walk included finding the Fox and Barrel Pub opening at 12 noon, which was very welcomeing for drinks and coffee. Didn't eat there but was clearly very popular and food looked great. We would definately recomments the Hen House which has an amazing shared garden with the owners which we are sure is even more fabulous in summer.
