These two charming holiday properties are set on the owners’ working beef and arable farm, close to the traditional village of Gilcrux on the fringes of the Lake District National Park. Greengill Farm Holiday Cottage (ref UK2768) is a beautiful, semi-detached barn conversion. It has been thoughtfully designed, with each ground floor bedroom having a walk-in shower room, and the living, dining and kitchen area being located on the first floor. The property is beautifully presented and makes a comfortable base to return to after a day exploring the region. There is also the benefit of a private hot tub, which you can sink into with a glass of bubbly! We had a brilliant stay at the Shepherds hut. It was the relaxing break we needed, the sheep were adorable and the hut itself was perfect! The hosts were amazing and we even got to have a walk around the farm. We will definitely be returning :)

Absolutely loved our weekend stay here! It is so cozy and situated in a lovely peaceful and private area. The views of the sheep and the cows was lovely to wake up to in the mornings and while we were in the hot tub. We are looking forward to returning in the future!
