A lovely place to stay very quiet and dark just how I like it. Had everything we needed , lovely and warm with an added log burner. The owner pop around to introduce himself and asked if we had everything we needed which was very kind. All in all great place to stay and shall be back.

Great location for all things Hadrians Wall but remote from any pubs/shops etc. Lanercost Priory and tea rooms are a short walk down the hill, otherwise you will need a car.

Brilliant location for an away from it all break. Ideal for walkers, historical site seekers or relaxing days to destress. Had a wonderful time doing all three. 😊
