Deepdale Cottage receives high praise for its cleanliness, comfort, and beautiful setting. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, spacious garden, and added luxury of a tennis court. Its location is ideal for exploring the Lake District and Scottish Borders. While most experiences are positive, a few guests suggest minor improvements.
The cottage is consistently described as very clean and well-presented, with multiple reviews highlighting its spotlessness. One negative comment does not detract significantly from the overall high standard of cleanliness reported.
The location is praised for being peaceful and good for exploring northern Cumbria and southwest Scotland. The proximity to a local pub and the attractiveness of the area are noted, although one review mentions a local pub closure.
Many reviews mention the comfort of the beds and the overall comfort of the cottage. There is a single complaint about heat and window issues, but this seems to be an isolated incident.
Facilities such as the kitchen, garden, and tennis court are frequently commended. However, there are comments about the lack of a hairdryer and the need for washing pods, suggesting room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
