On the farm there are 20 acres of private ancient woodland, perfect for exploring, bird watching, photography and other activities. There is also 3/4 of a mile of river running through the farm, with associated fishing rights for your enjoyment. The original flagstone flooring takes you to the kitchen which has all the mod cons.
However, you may find yourself eschewing the integrated dishwasher in order to watch the calves frolicking in the field whilst you wash up! It's just a pity that the rain god didn't smile on us. Managed to gather about 2 kg of brambles (blackberries), so I feel some bramble gin and vodka in the offing with the soaked fruit being used in gin and vodka bramble jam!

! The house is perfect, you even have you own little patio looking over the fields, aswell as a beautiful woodland on the doorstep. There are countless beautiful walls close by. When it rained (inevitably) we went to Carlisle to play bowling and pool and finished off the weekend with a long walk on Lake Windermere which was about an hours drive. The house is cosy, spacious and has everything you could ever need. We will be back at some point this year if not next!!
