Armathwaite lies in the northern reaches of the Eden Valley, the last stop on the Settle to Carlisle Railway before the line reaches its northern terminus. Like many stations along the line, its buildings are maintained in their traditional style and colours.
Armathwaite Manor dates back to 1829 a Grade II listed building, and provides welcoming and luxury holiday accommodation, perfect for a relaxing break away. Meadow View certainly has the wow factor! This renovated part of the old Manor is elegant and stylish, and from the moment you walk through the door you won’t be disappointed. It is perfect for all the family, with the rooms flowing through from the living room through to the dining room leading to kitchen. This property provides a variety of extra special touches, from the large 55” oled TV, the luxurious beds and sumptuous pillows, to the large deep bath.
The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Cumbrian countryside. Take a leisurely walk down into Armathwaite, or many delightful walks nearby. A must in the area is many walks in the Lake District National Park. Further afield, visit the delights of Hadrian’s Wall or cross the border for a scenic drive into Scotland. This property can be booked together with Edenside (UK36730) to accommodate up to 14 guests.

Meadow View was an amazing place to stay. A well-equipped luxury home located in an idyllic setting. We were welcomed on arrival by Sue who showed us round and we instantly felt at home. We couldn't have spent a more comfortable time in this high quality Manor. Hope we get a chance to return.

We stayed here over the weekend and it was stunning. The photos on the website don’t reflect how lovely and comfortable this property is. Sue was absolutely brilliant from the get go. Great information about the accommodation and places to see nearby. Would absolutely recommend and we can’t wait to return.
