Lodge overall was good and homely. Just a few niggles. In the master bedroom the wallpaper is peeling off the wall. The toilet flushes are not strong in both the bathrooms. Gate is faulty but can remain closed. There was a number of toiletries left in the cupboards and bathroom cabinets. It felt a little odd, like we were stepping into someone’s home.The site was beautiful and well maintained. The dog walking field was an added bonus and the other guests were friendly.. Overall a good value holiday on the edge of the lakes.

We had a fantastic time it was ideal location for visiting the different areas around the Lake District, we took our 10 month old puppy the decking around the lodge was safe and secure for him. The dog walking patch was near by.

Everything was perfect for myself and my family the lodge was clean and well maintained. Instructions were clear about the amenities inside the lodge. We would highly recommend it for a stay in that area It was very quiet in that area where there were other lodges so we had a great relaxing time & good sleep when ever needed
