Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. This charming, semi-detached holiday property is tucked away in a quiet street in heart of the old part of the historic town of Millom. There are many visitor attractions in the area such as the South Lakes Wild Animal Park at Dalton, Muncaster Castle and Gardens, the miniature steam railway at Ravenglass, Coniston Water and the western Lakeland Fells. Enjoy the coastal and hill walks from the door. Black Combe, one of Wainwright’s ‘breathtaking views’, is well worth the climb, the summit cairn of which can be seen from one of the bedrooms in clear weather. Fishing, water skiing, golf and pony trekking nearby. Shop ½ mile, pub ⅓ mile and restaurant ¼ mile.

Our holiday at Combe Cairn The house was Brilliant, Very clean, Excellant Comfy Furniture and Beds. Big kitchen space, Plenty of utensils, Crockery, Pans etc. The Lakes easy to get to and lovely. Will Definately come a back again.

we liked the property very much, it was cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. nice little patio area at the back with table and chairs to sit out. parking area was a bonus. it was extremely clean, kitchen was well equipped, although we ate out, so didn't really use it much. the scenery is beautiful, although Millom leaves much to be desired, mainly due to places not being opened as advertised, online openings differed greatly to actual opening times. weirdly most breakfast places didn't open until 1000.... so although we loved the property, we will be unlikely to return due to the lack of eating\drinking places in Millom itself, which is a shame as they could promote this as the gateway to The Lakes, without the cost of Windermere, for example
