Carry your conversations in the beautiful sitting room, boasting gorgeous ornate ceilings and roof cornices, along with a plush sofa and Smart TV so you can ease into the evening. A pretty mezzanine bedroom rests above, finished in a similar tasteful fashion, while there is also a gleaming shower to serve the bedrooms. The local town holds plenty of history awaiting to be discovered, once an important medieval market town, you can still discover evidence of its thriving past within its narrow lanes and historic buildings, housing a good selection of shops and eateries to while away the hours. Meander along the scenic River Bela to wake yourself in the morning, leading to a couple of medieval landmarks and attractions such as National Trust owned Sizergh Castle and the Grade I listed country house of Dallam Tower.

Those nature lovers will enjoy a day out at Lakeland Wildlife Oasis, or venture over to Whitbarrow Nature Reserve and RSPB Leighton Moss, providing further scenic beauty.
