Cross Fell View is a well-received cottage in a peaceful and picturesque setting, offering stunning views and a great base for exploring. Guests appreciate its cleanliness, well-equipped kitchen, and the beautiful garden. While some minor issues with comfort and maintenance are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests looking forward to returning.

The majority of guests found the cottage to be clean and tidy, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, a few guests mentioned it being cold and damp upon arrival, which slightly impacted the overall impression of cleanliness.

The cottage is praised for its quiet, remote location with beautiful views and proximity to walking trails and interesting places. Its peacefulness is a highlight, although the distance from shops and amenities is noted.

Guests generally find the cottage comfortable, with a well-maintained and characterful interior. Some guests, however, mentioned the sofas and beds could be more comfortable, and the cottage was cold on arrival for some.

The cottage is considered well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and guests appreciate the Sky TV and WiFi. Points for improvement include the need for more teaspoons, a dishwasher, and better heating arrangements.

While many reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the host. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.
