Bathroom and shower great. Could have done with more outdoor seating as we were lucky and had beautiful weather . Location was ideal for our exploring . Only downside for some that you could hear road noise , it didnât bother us .

However, it's comfortable, got most things (kitchen tongs, 2nd frying pan?) you need. Between Cark and Flookburgh there is most of the shops you use. The GoLocal shop over the road is well equipped. The Engine pub is handy. The train station has a decent service, especially for when it rains. Recommend The Pheasant in Allithwaite, the Feathers in Ulverston both for food. Cartmel is a nice day out.
