Beautifully restored and delightful, this peaceful beamed farmhouse (all of white building) sits on the edge of the Lake District, 1 mile from Milnthorpe’s shops, pubs and restaurants. Set within 33 acres of riverside pasture with free fly fishing, local walks, paddling and picnic areas along the river Bela. On the doorstep of the Lake District with Lake Windermere approx 10 miles. Equally the Yorkshire Dales are a 20 minute drive there is a host of attractions for everyone nearby.

What a great cottage! We really enjoyed our stay, everything was super clean and the host was very responsive and caring. I really liked the selection of DVDs, it took me back to my childhood memories when netflix was not a thing yet :) there were also board games and toys for children in the shelves. The cottage had everything you need and the location was great! The only thing that made me sad was the fact that we couldnt bring our family member a fury friend :) However, this was not the hosts fault as it was written in the description but we just mised this somehow. All in all, I really recommend staying in this cottage.
