About this property
This is a fabulous mid-terrace cottage, with stunning bedrooms featuring bath tubs for the ultimate luxury, whilst outside is a hot tub. Downstairs there is a spacious open plan living area with woodburning stove, dining area and contemporary kitchen with patio doors leading out to a private terrace with hot tub. Upstairs the bedrooms have beautiful views and both offer en-suite shower rooms. Note: This cottage can connect with Primrose, Ref. 926823, to accommodate 8 guests, making it ideal for two families who wish to be close to each other, but with their own privacy. Note: This cottage can be booked with Refs 916663, 926823 and 926824, together they sleep 12.
Situated on the coast, across from Morecambe Bay is the small village of Aldingham. Local folklore says that the village was once a mile long and that many of the cottages were washed away. Aldingham also has a reputation as a smuggler's village, the perpetrators hiding brandy from France and tobacco from America within the church crypt. The village itself is close to Furness Abbey as well as the ancient market town of Ulverston, just five miles away. Ulverston boasts a street market every Thursday and Saturday, in addition to many festivals throughout the year. These include an amazing lantern procession in November and an atmospheric Dickensian weekend in early December. The town is also the birthplace of Stan Laurel, famous for his work with Oliver Hardy, and as such is home to the only museum dedicated to this double act in the world. With all the attractions of the Lake District National Park and the sandy beaches of the Furness Coast, this quiet and peaceful area has plenty to offer!

Both bedrooms had good size beds and very comfortable, with plenty of storage space. There was a lovely touch with a Christmas Tree all set up when we arrived. This cottage was very cosy, comfortable and located perfectly. I would highly recommend this to everyone especially for families who want to get a break from the city life. Everything we needed and requested such as the baby cot/highchair was left for us. Me and my family had a fantastic stay and we will definitely be back again. Thank you.

Booked bluebell cottage last weekend for my husband and brotherâs birthday so there were 4 of us in total and we all had an amazing time. The bedrooms is what draw me to this place because it is hard to find somewhere that has 2 rooms of the same standard and Iâve always wanted a room with a tub
